If you happen to be an uber clothing nerd (like me) or even if youve just switched on your twitter or your telly you wont have escaped London Fashion Week.  The best thing about it for nerds like me isnt seeing all the stuff and proving your trend predicting abilties correct its that its fashion season and that means watching endless lines of clothes parading down the catwalk for a week......and its followed by Paris and Milan fashion weeks soonsoonsoon!
Anyways there are no losers during fashion week, only the outlandish.  So for me its difficult to pick any highlights for you, but I give it a little go

Lots of good looks for ladies.  Bold printing is back in a big way in stark contrast to the boys where really basic colors and fabrics seem to be bangtidy.

Rediscovering music that you havent listened to for ages....how good is that!  Finally got around to moving all my old music onto the shiny new 'Taffmac' and while i was there I cleared out the 'taffpod'.  Came across a few gems, but this one takes my breath away, I honestly could listen to it over and over and not get fed up of it.  I defy anyone to watch this video and listen to the music and have a little smile creep up on your inside face..... listen and read on if you please.....

If you dont like Bob Marley then I would wager that you havent given it a chance.....or alternativly you are a f*cking moron....could be either?
Quite frankly he is THE musician of the last 100 years.  The Beatles, Elvis, Oasis, pah they all had one thing in common, they didnt make music for their love of music, they had nothing to lose by making their music.  Now im not saying that music isnt good listenings im just saying it doesnt matter like Marleys does.
His only desire was to enjoy life.  His main belief was that music of a certain nature could unite people under a banner of love for one another.  He cared nothing for material and his favorite passtime was lying on the ground watching the sky and the stars pass by.
Actually the real secret is that Marley’s music is about something. It has value. Bob’s art is life transforming, answering our highest needs. It answers in a positive way, the question that we must always ask before we begin any activity in life: how is this going to make the world a better place? Although Bob became a commercial artist, he was not making commercial art. His art transcended pop fluffery. Many are there who swear that his music literally saved their lives.
Inspired by Mr Marleys message a movement called 'Playing for Change,' formed.  The playing for change movement started in 2004 in order to "inspire, connect, and bring peace to the world through music". The creators of the project, Mark Johnson and Enzo Buono, traveled around the world using mobile recording equipment, the duo recorded local musicians performing the same song, interpreted into their own style. The project's first single was Stand by Me, and began when the producers heard a busker in Santa Monica, Roger Ridley (now deceased). The duo traveled the world, recording more and more musicians. All of these versions were considered for mixing a pastiche final version.  The sales of the records have allowed the company to setup the playing for change foundation, which, sets up and runs schools, including music schools in some of the worlds most neglected areas, its already running schools in South Africa, Uganda, Nepal and Rwanda.
I think I really good use and understanding of Bob Marleys music has been acheived, and these guys are definatly getting the income from the next charity challenge!  Feel free to visit them at http://www.playingforchange.com/ or on twitter @playing4change they also have a youtube channel and all their music is available to buy from itunes..... GO GET ONE!
Sorry, i couldnt pick just one video to share :s
