Such a beautiful night...looking for something dumb to do

How we diddling.
Just a quick update for y'all.  As some of you are aware for the past few months Ive been on the long and difficult road to self employment... happily enough Im nearly there.
Ive always wanted to do something I enjoy as a career, and since theres not much call for bigfatwelsh gigalos, i choose photography.
I can remember picking up my dads old nikon camera when I was about 9 and thinking how cool it was that with the click of a button boom you got yourself something thatll last forever, I didnt do much tho cos it was soooo fucking heavy I could barely lift it.
After becoming disillusioned with life in the rat race the decision that I never again wanted a boss shouting and balling at me, heavy pressure deadlines and targets to hit was an easy one.
The main problem at the moment is although there is plenty of work out there in short term it means having little notes to play with your friends, so you gotta pick your oportunities.
With booking for spring and summer 2012 starting to trickle in I guess im in this for at least a year and hopefully by this time next year Im hoping to be moving into a full time studio somewhere.  With that in mind if you know anyone who is looking for a creative type with a camera to take photos of their wedding or to put together a little family portrait or headshots or portfolios or anything like that then I think im pretty good and my rates are considerably cheaper than everyone else out there.
This here is a little example of some weddings Ive been lucky enough to be allowed to be a part of.

Aside from that im in for a very quiet december, for once.  I'll probs throw some ranting out there in the run up as I become increasingly annoyed at shopping and mulled wine (bleugh). Christmas with the family (its best cos there kids running around which means loads of toys) I asked for a monkey onesy, hope Santa comes through this year, ideally i'll get down to see the beautiful baby of mr pin, maybe even the mighty yeovil town, but then on the 27th im off stateside for new years (I know I cant really afford it but id payed for it as a gift ages ago and like hell im gonna be wasting that, Big apple for NYE.  January im actually gonna be celebrating 28 years on this earth, and I have one or two projects lined up for the start of the year.  I hope to include you all in them.
